about this website
This website contains a wide range of scholarships available to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students.
Scholarships range in value from a $500 one-off payment to $100,000, paid over the duration of a student's course.
In addition to the scholarships specifically for Indigenous students, the site has other equity- and merit-based scholarships which Indigenous students are encouraged to apply for.
The scholarships cover expenses like university fees (also known as student contribution amounts), living costs and other study costs (like computer equipment and books). Some offer a lump sum payment which may be used for any costs associated with study.
Make sure you do your research before you apply and find out how to choose the scholarship that is right for you.
It's important to remember that there are always people out there who can help you with any questions you may have about scholarships or studying at university, so don't be afraid to ask for assistance.
