Universities in all Australian states and territories offer a variety of full-time and part-time undergraduate programs in most general subject areas.
Some universities are located in more than one state and they may have several campuses from which to choose.
For some students, face-to-face study may be difficult or impossible. Family commitments, work or distance from campus may mean it is easier for you to study from home at your own pace.
It is important to know that there are other pathways of education outside the university system.
Most universities require you to apply through a Tertiary Admissions Centre (TAC) while others allow you to apply directly to the university.
