About the scholarship


  • Since the signing of a Partnership Agreement between Westralia Airports Corporation (WAC) and Nyoongar Elders in 2009, WAC owner and operator Perth Airport Pty Ltd, is offering scholarships to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students undertaking studies at Edith Cowan University (ECU). The purpose of the scholarship is to provide financial support for two Indigenous students commencing study at ECU.

Applicant criteria

The applicant must

  • be of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent
  • be undertaking an undergraduate Bachelor Course or an Advanced Diploma Course (3 year courses only) at ECU

  • personal and educational goals
  • application of skills in the Noongar community
